Every Woman Deserves Real Hope
Loren Rourke is a breast cancer surgeon with more than 20 years of experience guiding thousands of women through some of life’s hardest moments. Known for her blue pen, her memorable “grapes and stems” explanation, and her blend of empathy, humor, and straight talk, she makes complex medicine feel clearer and less frightening. She partners with patients every step of the way and believes education creates hope. In January 2026, she opened Woodlands Breast Care, expanding her commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered breast health services to her community.
Through her book Real Talk, Real Hope, her speaking engagements, and her daily clinical work, Loren’s mission is to help women feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.
Outside the hospital, Loren is a busy mom to teenage twins and several furry pets. She trains for ballroom dance competitions and, when she finally gets quiet time, loves cooking, baking, and reading romantic fiction.
